We are committed to providing close, personal attention to our clients. We take pride in giving you the assurance that the personal assistance you receive comes from years of continuing advanced training, constant updating of skills and information through additional coursework and classes, technical experience and financial acumen. Our continual investment of time and resources in professional continuing education, state-of-the-art computer technology and extensive business network relationships is indicative of our commitment to excellence. We frequently give of our personal time to help out in the community, to provide a better place for both you and our own families. A healthy community is more likely to allow your business or position to continue to grow and for both of us to prosper and enjoy the beauty of our own chosen area. We gratefully thank you for your part in this continuing building process that you allow our firm to experience and remain an active part. Tony Asselin earned his Bachelor's degree at Florida State University, graduating in December, 1973. Seven years of practice experience were gained while located at the Firm Creel, Bryan and Gallagher in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. While in Florida, Tony passed the CPA Exam fully and was certified as a CPA. Following that, a three-year time of experience and affiliation with Snyder, Grant and Muehling, in Lincoln, Nebraska was earned as an additional degree was sought by Mrs. Susan Asselin (now Dr. Susan Asselin). Completion of the degree work and publishing in Nebraska led to the relocation to Blacksburg, Virginia in 1982 and a growing practice to serve your needs has ensued and will continue to thrive in our area to meet your needs. The Firm was welcomed into the Blacksburg area in December, 1982 as Tony Asselin's application for reciprocal CPA status was first recognized by the Virginia Accountancy Board. Through word of mouth, the clientele has grown to a maximum number of approximately 500 clients. In order to serve the needs of clients, few, if any new clients are being added to the client list so that we might be able to provide timely service to you, our existing clientele. We do not intend to overcrowd the client list just for the sake of building a client list. We intend on providing services that you value as timely and valuable to your needs. In December, 2000, the office was moved to its present location at 102 Broce Drive as a permanent location that was re-built into a space that we are proud of and comfortable with as our place to be able to welcome you into our environment. Much additional electrical wiring for greater needs was added, Computer network wiring was installed to match almost any needs, and the interior space layout was matched to our needs and to accomodate your comfort and also the needs to meet the Americans with Disabilities Act (although we were not required to do so, we felt that you deserved a place that would suit your needs for a long term relationship.) We hope that we have satisfied your discerning eye and desire for comfort without being 'over the top' so that we both enjoy the space. We thank you for your continuing confidence in our ability to serve your needs, and look forward to spending many years working through the complexities of financial, tax and legal needs that can become part of everyday life in our world.
